Frequently asked questions

Why should I hire a bookkeeper?

Outsourcing your bookkeeping allows you to focus on what you do best—growing your business and bringing in revenue. Beyond saving you time, clean financial records give you clear insight into your numbers, helping you make smarter, data-driven business decisions with confidence.

Why should I choose to work with you over other options?

I bring the comprehensive strategic perspective of a licensed CPA with extensive hands-on experience across many areas of corporate and public accounting. My background spans roles as a public accounting auditor, financial analyst, internal auditor, corporate financial accountant, and cost accountant.

Above all, I am reliable, highly responsive, and easy to work with. You get high-level corporate insight delivered with approachable, dependable service—giving you peace of mind that your finances are in expert hands.

Is my business too small to hire a bookkeeper?

Not at all. If you are serious about growing your business, establishing proper financial tracking early is one of the best investments you can make. It sets a solid foundation for profitability, tax readiness, and long-term success, regardless of your current revenue size.

Do I need to clean up or organize my financial records before hiring you?

No. You do not need to spend time trying to organize anything prior to our start. Whether your records are a few months behind or completely unorganized, I can take over immediately and bring your books fully up to date.

Do I need to purchase bookkeeping software?

Yes. I require all clients to use QuickBooks Online. If you do not already have an active subscription, I can help guide you through selecting the right plan for your business.

What information will I need to provide to get started on QuickBooks Online?

To manage your bookkeeping efficiently, I will need secure read-only/view-only access to your business bank accounts, credit card portals, and any related merchant or sales platforms you use (such as Stripe, PayPal, or your POS system).

How much do your bookkeeping services cost, and how does payment work?

Ongoing bookkeeping packages start at $500 per month and are customized based on the complexity and volume of your business transactions. If your accounts require cleanup or catch-up work prior to monthly servicing, a one-time onboarding fee will apply. Services are billed on a convenient monthly auto-pay subscription.
